Cleveland, Ohio, USA – On September 1, 2022 -- ISCEA announced that Professor Md. Mamun Habib has been selected as the next Editor-in-Chief of the International Supply Chain Technology (ISCT) Journal. The Journal has led Supply Chain Technology thought leadership since its inception over 8 years ago with peer reviewed research papers, background studies, and important supply chain items of note.
Dr. Erick C. Jones, Sr. President of the ISCEA International Standards Board, led the competitive search process that considered academics, business leaders, and known supply chain experts. “We are very excited for the selection. Professor Md. Habib stood out due to his experiences in editorial roles for over 50 indexed journals” stated Dr. Erick C Jones. Dr. Jones continues by mentioning that Professor Habbib's experiences in industry and academia for over two decades as an active International Supply Chain leader weighed heavily on the decision.
Dr. Md. Habib is a Professor at the School of Business & Entrepreneurship (SBE), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and a Visiting Scientist in the RAID LABS Center at the University of Texas Arlington. Dr. Habib has published over 180 academic publications including conference proceedings, peer reviewed journal papers, and book chapters. Over a third of his publications are Scopus and Reuters indexed publications. Dr. Habib attained his Ph.D. and M.S in Computer & Engineering Management from Assumption University, Thailand. He is very active in international organizations including IEEE, IEOM, and is a chartered fellow of ILT, CILT International (UK) among others. He is also involved with the QS World University Rankings/Times Higher Education Rankings as an academician.
