CLSSYB EXAM

PREPARATION COURSE

LEAN SIX SIGMA FOCUS

In the Six Sigma Philosophy there are several belt levels; white, yellow, green, and black belts. During the history of Six Sigma most of the training attention has focused upon Green and Black Belts. This extensive and generally expensive training which provides key Six Sigma statistical tools and approaches allow for complex problems to be solved.

This training is quite expensive and requires a large time commitment for training which generally includes validation projects. The idea that Black Belts and Master Black Belts would in turn teach and educate project sponsors (investors) and project members on the team so that they could become "yellow belts" has historically been overlooked.

We feel that by overlooking this has increased the risk of failure to many organisational Six Sigma initiatives. The foundation of a Six Sigma  company is knowledge management and it is crucial that everyone understands how Six Sigma works and how they can provide value. Also, many plant managers, middle level managers and executives who are asked to invest as sponsors to Six Sigma have not been provided information to make the investments.

ISCEA Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training, and Certified Lean Six Sigma Executive Yellow Belt Training provides information to minimize these risks.

The ISCEA Certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is focused on providing training to all individuals who may be working with now and the future Six Sigma organisations.

The ISCEA Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt presentation and instruction will provide an overall insight to the techniques of Six Sigma, its metrics, and basic improvement methodologies. As a certified Yellow Belt you will be capable of participating as a core team member or subject matter expert on a project within your company. In addition, Yellow Belts are often responsible for running smaller process improvement projects using their Six Sigma tools and methodology.

ISCEA CLSSYB will help employees to foster buy-in to the Six Sigma tools, enhance day-to-day workplace activities seeking reduction in cycle-times, improved quality, and less waste. Six Sigma Yellow Belt training provides an introduction to process management and the basic tools of Six Sigma, giving employees a stronger understanding of processes, enabling each individual to provide meaningful assistance in achieving the organisation's overall objectives. Yellow Belt certification provides the stepping stones for further Green Belt and Black Belt Certification.
