ISCEA Expands Healthcare Supply Chain Education into South Korea
Appoints Dr. Sung Kook Ryou to Lead Regional Growth

New York, USA and SEOUL, South Korea — The International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA), the global leader in supply chain education and certification, has officially announced its strategic expansion into South Korea. This initiative introduces ISCEA’s acclaimed Gold Standard for Healthcare Supply Chain education and certification programs to the East Asian market, specifically featuring the Certified Healthcare Supply Chain Analyst (CHSCA) and Certified Healthcare Supply Chain Manager (CHSCM) designations.
To spearhead this national rollout, ISCEA has appointed Dr. Sung Kook Ryou to lead all operations and partnership efforts within South Korea. The expansion will kick off with an inaugural healthcare supply chain workshop scheduled to take place in early November 2026 in Seoul.
Institutional Alignment and Global Success
ISCEA’s healthcare frameworks are deeply integrated with international GS1 Standards, teaching tracking protocols like Global Location Numbers (GLNs) and Unique Device Identification (UDI) to ensure clinical efficiency and patient safety. This expansion follows the proven model of ISCEA's high-level Hospital CXO Forums, notably demonstrated by past landmark executive gatherings in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which were successfully co-hosted alongside the Federation of Saudi Chambers and GS1 Saudi Arabia. ISCEA aims to duplicate this ecosystem of institutional support and executive collaboration within South Korea's advanced healthcare sector.
