King Saud University (KSU) established in 1957 by King Saud bin Abdulalziz, strives for global leadership and excellence in building a knowledge society.
Saudi Arabia’s supply chain ecosystem is experiencing a rapid transition, spurred by substantial economic advancements under Vision 2030. These include economic diversification, investments in modern technology, and a particular emphasis on improving infrastructure in vital areas such as healthcare. The demand for sustainability and resilience, along with the need to respond to global supply chain disruptions, underlines both the potential and the problems in this changing context.

KSU plays an important role in tackling these trends and issues. As a pioneer in medical and operational education in the Kingdom, KSU is dedicated to developing a trained and capable workforce capable of meeting the needs of contemporary supply chains.
King Saud University’s partnership with the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) provides an excellent opportunity to share knowledge, skills, and materials, fostering the development of a robust supply chain management education. This collaboration is further enhanced by the involvement of critical partners such as NUPCO, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS), and other entities, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful approach. Together, these partnerships are benefiting both the university and the broader community.
